We are rudo,
but our results are impeccable

“In March 2015 my partners and got together to create a social network. We built a spectacular app, managed to get funding and launched our project in the Plug and Play accelerator, based in Silicon Valley. But the pace of user acquisition did not reach the required level so we decided to leave sclusib aside and take advantage of our experience to create applications for other companies.

That’s how rudo was born. In two years we have grown from 2 to 22 people, developed more than 30 projects and worked with small startups and big corporations. And we keep growing with the objective of becoming the most creative app development company in Spain”.

{Meet the rudo team}

We are many, but all important! We have a very interesting little story to tell you. Surely with more than one you get a surprise. 🎁

Richard Morla

Co-founder and CEO

Entrepreneur from birth and expert in business models. Under his command, a magazine publisher, a clothing franchise and a social network for influencers have grown. He will help you define the application of your dreams, always optimizing costs and time. If he is not at the office, he will be probably travelling, he has visited 30 countries and loves Southeast Asia. Has an international MBA and has lived in London, Shanghai and California.

Fernando Salom

Co-founder and CTO

Self-declared gamer, his competitiveness makes him give everything he has in the Play Station, on the football field or in the gym. As a good computer engineer he knows how to program in the latest languages, but what he likes most is to solve problems. He leads the team and will help you find the best technical solution. He has an international MBA, has worked at IBM and has studied in Madrid, Shanghai and California.

Pablo Villamayor

Project manager

Film enthusiast, paella purist and lost twin of Ryan Reynolds. Pablo is in charge of directing the projects within Rudo to get them delivered according to the specifications and in the time marked. Detail-oriented and methodical, he will help you track the status of your app in real time. On Fridays you will find him at the latest premiere in Kinépolis, on Saturdays at Mestalla, cheering for his Valencia C.F.

Jose Gil

Business

Our own self-acknowledged Japan lover has achieved his dream of living in the land of the rising sun. There he learned how to perform the tea ceremony and how to cook homemade takoyaki. He sometimes makes them in the office with all sauces included. He has studied Business Management and Administration and is a maniatic about performance and organization. In rudo, he makes clients feel at home.

Borja Pastor

Business

Since he started studying Business Administration and Management he knew that negotiation and selling is at the core of any deal. He’s the personification of organization, he manages to fit work, play football, go to the gym and have dinner in a cool new place, all in the same day. In rudo, he understands what clients need the most to give them the best solution. Ambitious like any other, his desire to make the world his has no end.

Lena

Business

Nobody knows how but being less than 25, she has already travelled to 30 countries, studied five months in Chile and another five in Budapest, worked in the german embassy in Sri Lanka and several startups in Berlin. When she travels, she uses Couchsurfing, that’s why she has thousands of anecdotes of the people she has gotten to know. In Valencia, she uses her free time to do meditation and yoga, although this last one is a secret.

Federica

Business

Globe trotter fueled by passion, she loves travelling and learning languages. She speaks perfectly italian, spanish french and english. Filled with energy, between task and task she loves taking time to walk on the beach and do Yoga. Her most treasured secret is that she plays the ukelele. We haven’t gotten her to bring it to the office yet! She’s bona fide italian, but she has lived in France and now Valencia is her home.

Emilio Carrión

Co-founder, iOS and Backend Leader

His crib was the box of a computer. He learned to program before talking and playing Counter Strike before riding a bike. The day gives him enough time to study computer engineering, work hard in rudo and have the best grades. He leads the iOS and Back team, works his magic with Django and has solutions for everything. He will help you building an administrator for your app where you feel that you are God.

Miguel Bosch

Backend Developer

Industrial engineer by formation but programmer by vocation. He doesn’t know how to say no when we challenge him to learn a new language, if he’s learning, he’s happy. His unbounded imagination makes him devour books with stunning speed and he prefers an afternoon surrounded by his friends and nature more than a night of party and alcohol. Cardgames are his passion: Magic, Gwent, Hearthstone, Ur, Duelist…

Carlos Sobrino

Android Developer

A fine artisan: his hands are capable of assembling memories, microprocessors and power supplies to build the best PC. But he is also able to make piece by piece spectacular cosplays of manga heroes. He started programming in class and when he discovered Android, he fell in love. He develops apps with the same love and care that goes into his cooking, his tuppers are the most prized in the office!

Laura Benítez

Android Developer

There is nothing that resists her. Like the phoenix bird, she first studied classical philology and then she felt like reinventing herself by studying application development. Now Android has no secrets for her. Her versatility and open mind aid her in solving programming problems in a unique way. She loves travelling, spending time with her friends and being outdoors, especially when she goes out with her mountain bike.

Adrián Rodriguez

Android Developer

Runner-up of Super Mario Kart Wii championship in Spain, methodical with meals and ambitious with his career. He started making web pages with WordPress but Android got in his way and he never wanted to go back. Like a good dreamer, he left his previous job to devote himself body and soul to programming his own video game. Between screen and screen he plays basket like a pro.

Néstor Masó

Android Developer

He likes defining himself as an “oldschool videogame nerd”. When he’s not doing fatalities in Mortal Kombat he’s hand-painting his WH40K Deathguard army or listening to the most brutal metal music ever. He’s a living contrast because he adores puppies and romantic flicks. His T-shirts are the coolest in the office. He’s also a professional photographer!

Oscar Jambrina

Android Developer

Born gamer and crazy for knowing everything about the latest technologies. If there’s something new, Óscar knows it, as he begins and ends his day devouring specialized blogs. He first studied mechanics, but since he was spending so much time in front of the computer he decided to do app development and learn Android. When he’s not programming, he’s hanging out with his friends playing board games or videogames.

Voro Ferrer

Android Developer

He started with an interest in electricity and automatization but in the end Android came into his life to stay. He loves videogames but sometimes he prefers to leave the keyboard aside and play some basket (who wouldn’t play that well with his height!) His specialty is strategy, that’s why he sometimes decides to emulate some of his favorite series and play Dungeons and Dragons with his friends. And he almost always wins!

Carlos Martínez

iOS Developer

He always says that playing at least 4 hours a day should be in the Human Rights. That’s why he has been doing it since childhood with his alter ego, Wanaldino Antimonio, for whom he is known in the networks. First he studied chemical engineering but code won him over and he started developing applications, as he has been programming since he was 13 years old. Fan of Asian food and everything that has to do with Japan.

Antonio Ferrando

iOS Developer

Crazy about Fifa and Playstation, Apple’s number one fan and lover of Italian food. Since he was a child he knew that he wanted to dedicate himself to computer science, so he studied Application Development at the European University and later specialized in iOS learning Swift. His fondness for drawing makes him be precise and obsess over the fact that the apps he develops are perfect until the last pixel. An afternoon watching a film and drinking horchata makes him happy.

Jesús Castellano

iOS Developer

Before starting coding in his spectacular new Mac, he had to get down and dirty in an electromechanical workshop. But iOS called to him and now he feels like fish in water programming. Never said better, as he loves his fishes and he treats them like they are his puppies. He’s also passionate about technical drawing and writing, maybe in the future we’ll see a book published by him? We’ll see!

Carmen Martínez-Bernal

iOS Developer

The youngest in the team but with limitless ambition. Born organizer, apprentice of lyrical singer and crazy about musicals. But that’s not all! Sometimes she slips on her skates and practices ice figure skating. And when she gets them off, she goes to dancing class. If she’s convinced nothing stands on her way, as she loves learning and reading books to improve herself. This year she even walked on burning coal!

Javier López

iOS Developer

Computer engineer by vocation, he shared his love for videogames and everything that has to do with Japan with the rest of the team, so his graduation trip couldn’t have been to anywhere else. Programming in iOS is like a role playing game for him: he needs to have everything under control, anticipate what other are going to do (in this case, the users). He loves fantasy books.

Toni García

iOS Developer

He studied web, but soon learned that apps are much cooler so he learned iOS by himself and set on that future. He can’t stand untidy code, that’s why each of his lines should be framed. Like a good Apple fan, he loves design and has his own project about cinema that’s going to be a smash hit. His greatest treasure: a cabinet filled with figures of all Marvel characters.

Rafael

Unicorn pet

Systems architect, Amazon Web Services enthusiast, Django apprentice, iOS expert, and Android master. Rafael came into our office taking up a whole lot of space but filling our lives with happiness and enthusiasm. You only need to notice that he is not just an inflatable unicorn, but a member of the team. Then you won’t be able to stop hugging him. His jokes are legendary.
